its not what you are underneath, but what you do that defines you

saw batman last night at midnight. i'm not generally one who gives good reviews on movies. its hard to impress me. but i've actually seen several good movies this summer. and batman begins is now near the top of the list of best movies i've ever seen. good cinematograpy; good music; good effects; good story; good acting; and a satisfying ending (though obviously not final) for a comic book movie. it doesn't feel like a comic book; it feels like a good movie. and while i'm not a comic book buff, it apparently satisfies all the desperate wishes of those who are. i'll probably watch it more. and i'm betting that it makes a lot of money; everything i've heard says that everyone who's seen it is as impressed as i am. so go watch it.
