smells like teen spirit

i think smell really is the strongest sense associated with memory. i used coconut shampoo today, and suddenly i was back in the shower at the ymca in ealing, london, four years ago. (was it really that long?) then watching "from russia with love" with matt and ryan on a tiny tv in matt's room. everything came back to me, details i'd never thought to think about, like what clothes i wore there. crazy what just a smell can do to you.
