the simple things

back in aberdeen after the day in and around kirkwall. was really nice, but cold and windy. i'll post some pictures later. i hope to go back to the islands some day. ended up walking about 7 miles with my backpack. and though i've never been sick from travelling, i got very sick on the ferry. came back today and immediately came to the hostel. took a shower and passed out. but i know that god loves me. this may sound immature, but really. "use the power shower. its the best in the world" said the girl at the check in. really. the best in the world? ok, yes, it was. the water pressure would have knocked over a lesser woman. it was amazing. seriously, people. and there was a light and a vent in the shower. word. i came all the way to aberdeen and it was worth it for this shower. at first, i thought, all showers should be like this. then i decided i wouldn't have appreciated it so much.
