i'm outta time...

i have class in 9 minutes. did i mention that i love my sociology class? i had seminar this morning and there were only about half a dozen people. sian (she is our seminar leader) pretty much lets us talk about what ever we want. its supposed to be a discussion of the stuff we've been lectured on. well last week, our lecture was about science-fiction and fandom. so today, our discussion degenerated into a commentary/debate about the different subgroups within star wars fandom. there were other cult films mentioned as well, but this was the one which some (at least two) of us knew a little about. it was a wonderful and entertaining discussion about conventions and their purposes and costuming and ewoks and jar-jar. yes, i love that class. 5 minutes til class. gotta go.
