its in the photograph of love

yay i'm putting up pictures. (see the 'gallery' link at the right!!!) this is because christmas has finally come. i recieved my lost luggage today, and in that bag of miracles was my chord for my camera. so now you can see some of the sights.
i thought i'd give you some random comments.

instead of squirrels like we have at lander, ucn has bunnies, all over, but mostly after dark. and seagulls, mostly before dark.

there are definitely some interesting people here.
my psych lecturer(professor, instructor? they're picky about which you call them):
his grey jacket is too big, slightly askew on his thin frame. hands clasped together under his chin, he stands to the side of the overhead projector and talks of the great psychologists. he speaks with eyes wide open, set in a small face topped by slightly floppy hair. one side of his hair sticks out fuzzily, as if he's slept on it.

Steven works in admissions. he took my id picture the other day. he has a sweet face and smoothly colored red-brown hair that's styled into one of the best euro-mullets i've seen.

ghetto merges with everything else in a strange way, including punk-goth. sitting next to my in psych today was a girl wearing dark boot cut jeans and black suede, pointy toe boots with a little silver buckle. she had a black and metal (mostly metal) spikey belt. her hooded sweatshirt was red and black with some outside seams and she was wearing black hoop earrings. her hair was black and red. i think she's part black or indian, and she was wearing black eyeliner and chipped green nail polished on long fingernails. her thin fingers were covered in rings....punk-goth-ghetto-fabulistic.

i accidentally wound up in northampton again today. i had a class on the other campus. afterward, i caught the shuttle, and it just stopped at the bus station in northampton. so i went into the market and bought some bell peppers (one red, one green, one orange), some bananas, and some mangos. then i found the regular bus (had to pay 70p) and came back to school, where i found my luggage and did a little dance on the inside.
tomorrow i'm going to london. dr. stone is coming back to northampton and taking all the lander people to dinner in london.
i guess that is enough for now. i'll keep posting.
