desperate times call for desperate measures

i have been craving orange juice for a week at least. not that i haven't gotten any. i've had a few of those little bottles from gas stations. maybe my body is craving vitamin c since i've a mild case of bronchitis. in any case, i have not gotten the desired amount of orange juice, especially at home because that is not something my parents buy on a regular basis. So finally, today i reached a point of desperation so great i squeezed five oranges with my bare hands, hand strained them, and drank the freshest orange juice ever made, a mere minute and a half after the squeezing. it was pretty good. and thus i've conquered the oj craving for the time being. i'll probably want more tomorrow.
